About Dr. Katie Carpenter

Dr. Katie is a board certified Chiropractor in the state of Alabama. Prior to opening Mama's Chiropractor, she practiced at ChiroSouth Spine & Sport from January 2022 to August 2023.    

 

She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Alabama, and went on to obtain her Chiropractic Doctorate from Life University in Marietta, Georgia. Dr. Katie is Certified in the Webster Technique, Selective Functional Movement Assessment (SFMA) Levels 1 and 2, and is a NASM-Certified Women's Fitness Specialist. She has taken many continuing education hours with a heavy focus on functional movement, perinatal and pediatric care. She also has hands on experience with Myofascial Release manual therapies as well as Spinning Babies techniques. 

 

She considers herself a forever student so her approach to care evolves as she learns new techniques and treatment tools for the betterment of her patients. 

 

In her free time she enjoys time with her family, surf fishing at the beach, and playing in 7's rugby tournaments.
